Kym Jackson (Founder)
Kym Jackson (This Is Us, S.W.A.T., N.C.I.S., The Secrets She Keeps) is an actress credited with 60+ feature films & TV episodes. In March 2024, she wrapped on post-apocalyptic feature We Bury The Dead opposite Daisy Ridley, and Other You, her first film as producer, in which she stars opposite Luke Ford and Arj Barker.
A member of American MENSA, Kym is the author of the Amazon best selling textbook, The Hollywood Survival Guide For Actors, a comprehensive 300+ page guide to navigating the entertainment industry.
Founder of the Secret Actor Society app and website, which boasts over 3000 classes and Q&A’s with 50+ industry experts and casting directors that reveal strategies best used by actors to obtain success in their career, Kym’s mission is to share knowledge with her peers and the next generation of talent.
As a coach and regular speaker for organizations including SAG-AFTRA, MEAA, WIFT, Spotlight, Kym has taught thousands of actors to navigate the business of acting. Her methods incorporate mindset work and techniques to help artists develop and maintain the mental fortitude required to successfully pursue a career acting professionally in the film & TV industry.
Kym is also a SAG-AFTRA convention delegate, who in 2022 co-authored and gained unanimous support from the delegation for her resolution to limit self tape lengths - a key point in the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike negotiations.
Andrew Steel (Founder)
Andrew Steel (Home & Away, Wish Man) is an award winning NIDA trained actor. He has worked extensively in theatre, film and television both in Australia and the U.S. His credits include Home and Away, Wonderland, Days of Our Lives, The Justice Lease, Deadbeat Dads, and four seasons of Wind In The Willows with the Australian Shakespeare Company.
His latest credit is the lead role of Wish Man, the bio-pic of Frank Shankwitz, the creator of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Steel leads an all-star cast including Bruce Davison, Tom Sizemore, Danny Trejo, Dale Dickey, Frank Whaley, Robert Pine and Steven Michael Quezada. Wish Man was screened at both the Cannes Film Festival and at the Toronto International Film Festival and was in consideration for best picture at the 2020 academy awards. It spent several months trending in the top 10 globally on Netflix.
Andrew is also the President of the international socially conscious film festival Flicks4Change, which ran for 5 years, directly connecting hundreds of non profits with creatives and audiences passionate about their causes.
